Thecuttingunitlift/dropcircuitisequippedwithaow
controlvalve(Figure58).Thisvalveispresetatthe
factoryatapproximately3turnsopen,butanadjustment
mayberequiredtocompensatefordifferencesin
hydraulicoiltemperatures,mowingspeeds,etc.Ifan
adjustmentisrequired,proceedasfollows:

Note:Allowthehydraulicoiltoreachfulloperating
temperaturebeforeadjustingtheowcontrolvalve.
1.Raisetheseatandlocatetheowcontrolvalvefor
thecenterpullframe(Figure58)whichislocated
nexttothehydraulicmanifold.
2.Loosenthesetscrewontheadjustingknobonthe
owcontrol.
3.Rotatetheknob1/4turncounterclockwiseifthe
centercuttingunitisdroppingtoolateor1/4turn
clockwiseifthecentercuttingunitisdroppingtoo
early.
4.Afterthedesiredsettinghasbeenachieved,tighten
thesetscrew.
AdjustingtheLiftCylinders
Toregulatetheheightofthefrontcuttingunitswhenin
theraised(transport)position,youcanadjustthefront
liftcylinders.
1.Lowerthecuttingunitstotheground.
2.Loosenthejamnutontheclevisofthecuttingunit
liftcylinderthatneedstobeadjusted.
3.Disconnectthecylinderclevisfromtheliftarm.
4.Rotatetheclevisuntilyouattainthedesiredheight.
5.Connectthecylinderclevistotheliftarmandtighten
thejamnut.
