6.SetthemasterboomswitchtotheOnpositionto
beginspraying.
Note:Whenthetankisnearlyempty,theagitation
maycausefoaminginthetank.Inthiscase,turnthe
agitationcontrolvalvetothe3o'clockpositiontoturn
itoff.Alternatively,youcanuseananti-foamingagent
inthetank.
7.Whennishedspraying,setthemasterboomswitchto
theOffpositiontoturnoffallbooms,thendisengage
thePTOlever.
SprayingTips
•Donotoverlapareasthatyouhavepreviouslysprayed.
•Watchforpluggednozzles.Replaceallwornordamaged
nozzles.
•Usethemasterboomswitchtostopthesprayowbefore
stoppingthesprayer.Oncestopped,usetheneutral
enginespeedlocktoholdtheenginespeeduptokeep
theagitationrunning.
•Youwillobtainbetterresultsifthesprayerismoving
whenyouturntheboomson.
•Watchforchangesintheapplicationratethatmay
indicatethatyourspeedhaschangedbeyondtherangeof
thenozzlesorthereisaproblemwiththespraysystem.
CleaningtheSprayer
Important:Youmustalwaysemptyandcleanthe
sprayerimmediatelyaftereachuse.Failuretodoso
maycausethechemicalstodryorthickeninthelines,
cloggingthepumpandothercomponents.
1.Stopthesprayer,settheparkingbrake,placetherange
selectorintheNeutralposition,andturnofftheengine.
2.Usethetankdrainhandletodrainanyunusedmaterial
fromthetankanddisposeofitaccordingtolocalcodes
andthematerialmanufacturer'sinstructions.

3.Fillthetankwithatleast50USgallons(190L)ofclean
freshwaterandclosethecover.
Note:Youcanuseacleaning/neutralizingagentin
thewaterasneeded.Onthenalrinse,useonlyclean,
clearwater.
4.Starttheengine.
5.WiththeshiftleverintheNeutralposition,engagethe
PTO,andsetthehandthrottle.
6.EnsurethattheagitationcontrolvalveisintheOn
position.
7.Setthemasterboomswitchandboomcontrolswitches
totheOnpositionstobeginspraying.
8.Allowallofthewaterinthetanktosprayoutthough
thenozzles.
9.Checkthenozzlestoensurethattheyareallspraying
correctly.
10.SetthemasterboomswitchtotheOffposition,
disengagethePTO,andstoptheengine.
11.Repeatsteps3through10atleast2moretimesto
ensurethatthespraysystemisfullycleaned.
