E.CleanthepistonsandreplaceanywornO-rings.
F.CoatallpistonO-ringswithvegetableoiland
reinstallinthevalveassemblywiththescrews
previouslyremoved.Makesuretoinstallthe
springsintothevalveassembly.
G.Securethevalveseatstothevalveassemblywith
the3forkspreviouslyremoved.
H.Mountthehoseloombrackettothesprayerframe
withthe2screwsandnutspreviouslyremoved.
5.Addarustinhibiting,non-alcoholbased,RVantifreeze
solutiontothesystemandrunthepumpforafew
minutestocirculateitthroughthesystem,thendrain
thespraysystemascompletelyaspossible.
6.Usetheboomliftswitchestoraisethebooms.Raise
theboomsuntilhavemovedcompletelyintoboom
transportcradleformingthe“X”transportposition
andtheboomcylindersarefullyretracted.Make
suretheboomcylindersarefullyretractedtoprevent
actuatorroddamage.
7.Inspectthebrakes;refertotheWorkmanOperator’s
Manual.
8.Servicetheaircleaner;refertotheWorkmanOperator’s
Manual.
9.Greasethesprayer;refertotheLubricationsection.
10.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.Repairor
replaceanypartthatisdamaged.
11.Checktheconditionofallsprayhoses,replacingany
thataredamagedorworn.
12.Tightenallhosettings.
13.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.
PaintisavailablefromyourAuthorizedServiceDealer.
14.Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageorstoragearea.
15.Coverthemachinetoprotectitandkeepitclean.
RemovingtheSprayer
IfremovingthesprayerfromtheWorkmanvehicle,usethe
followingprocedureandreferencetheSetupsection.
DANGER
Thesprayertankassemblyrepresentsastored
energyhazard.Ifnotproperlyretainedwhen
installingorremovingtheassemblyitcanmoveor
fallandinjureyouorotherbystanders.
Usestrapsandanoverheadlifttosupportthe
sprayertankassemblyduringinstallation,removal
oranymaintenancewhentheretainingfasteners
arebeingremoved.
1.Secureandsupportthesprayertankassemblywith
strapstoanoverheadliftusingtheeyeletsontheskid
frame.Thispreventstheassemblyfromshiftingwhen
thefastenerssecuringthetankassemblytotheframe
areloosened.
2.Lowerboomstoapproximately45°andthenpivot
themforward.
3.DisconnectthewireharnessandPTOshaft.
4.Storethecontrolbox,usingtheexistingfasteners,to
theleft,rearofthetankskid.
5.Removeallthefastenersretainingthesprayertank
assemblytothemachineframe.Retainallparts.
6.Liftthetankassembly3-4inchesandremovethelynch
pinsandclevispinssecuringtheliftcylinderstothe
tankassembly.
7.Retracttheliftcylindersandreturnthemtotheir
holdersonthevehicleframe.Liftthetankassembly
clearofthevehicle.
8.Whenthesprayertankassemblyisclearofthevehicle,
insertthefourjackstandsprovidedandlockthejack
standswiththeclevispinsprovided.
9.Movethevehicleoutoftheway.
