Beforeusingthesprayerforthersttimeorifthenozzlesare
changed,adjusttheboombypassvalvessothatthepressure
andapplicationrateremainsthesameforallboomswhenyou
turnoneormoreboomsoff.
Note:Theboombypassvalvesmustbecalibratedeachtime
thenozzlesarechanged.

1.Fillthespraytankwithcleanwater.
2.Puttheextensionboomsdown,ifinstalled.
3.Settheparkingbrakeandstarttheengine.
4.SetthedialontheSprayPromonitortoApplication
Rate.
5.PlacetherangeselectorintheNeutralposition.
6.Presstheacceleratortotheoorandsettheneutral
enginespeedlockswitchtotheOnposition.
7.SetthepumpswitchtotheOnpositiontostartthe
pump.
8.Setallthreeboomswitchesandthemasterboom
switchtotheOnposition.
9.Usetheapplicationrateswitchtoadjustthepressureas
readonthepressuregaugeuntilitisintherangeforthe
nozzlesyouinstalledonthebooms(typically40psi).
10.Recordthereadingonthepressuregauge.
11.Turnoffoneoftheboomsusingtheappropriateboom
switch.
12.Adjusttheboombypassvalve(Figure43)ontheboom
controlvalvefortheboomyouturnedoffuntilthe
