OperatingonHillsandRoughTerrain
Operatingthevehicleonahillmaycausetippingorrolling
ofthevehicle,ortheenginemaystallandyoucouldlose
headwayonthehill.Thiscouldresultinpersonalinjury.
Donotacceleratequicklyorslamonthebrakeswhen
backingdownahill,especiallywithaload.
Neverdriveacrossasteephill;alwaysdrivestraightupor
downorgoaroundthehill.
Iftheenginestallsoryoubegintoloseheadwaywhile
climbingahill,graduallyapplythebrakesandslowlyback
straightdownthehill.
Turningwhiletravelingupordownhillscanbe
dangerous.Ifyouhavetoturnwhileonahill,doitslowly
andcautiously.Nevermakesharporfastturns.
Heavyloadsaffectstability.Reducetheweightoftheload
andyourspeedwhenoperatingonhills.
Avoidstoppingonhills,especiallywithaload.Stopping
whilegoingdownahillwilltakelongerthanstopping
onlevelground.Ifthesprayermustbestopped,avoid
suddenspeedchanges,whichmayinitiatetippingor
rollingofthesprayer.Donotslamonthebrakes
whenrollingbackward,asthismaycausethesprayerto
overturn.
Reducespeedandloadwhenoperatingonroughterrain,
unevenground,andnearcurbs,holes,andothersudden
changesinterrain.Loadsmayshift,causingthesprayer
tobecomeunstable.

Reducetheweightoftheloadwhenoperatingonhills
androughterraintoavoidtippingoroverturningofthe
vehicle.
Liquidloadscanshift.Thisshiftinghappensmostoften
whileturning,goingupordownhills,suddenlychanging
speeds,orwhiledrivingoverroughsurfaces.Shifting
loadscancausethevehicletotipover.
Whenoperatingwithaheavyload,reduceyourspeedand
allowforsufcientbrakingdistance.Donotsuddenly
applythebrakes.Useextracautiononslopes.
Beawarethatheavyloadsincreaseyourstoppingdistance
andreduceyourabilitytoturnquicklywithouttipping
over.
Maintenance
Onlypermitqualiedandauthorizedpersonnelto
maintain,repair,adjust,orinspectthevehicle.
Beforeservicingormakingadjustmentstothemachine,
stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekey
fromtheignitiontopreventsomeonefromaccidentally
startingtheengine.
Emptythetankbeforetiltingorremovingsprayerfrom
vehicleandbeforestorage.
Neverworkunderasprayerwithoutusingtanksupport
proprod.
Makesureallhydrauliclineconnectorsaretight,andall
hydraulichosesandlinesareingoodconditionbefore
applyingpressuretothesystem.
Keepbodyandhandsawayfrompinholeleaksthatcan
ejecthydraulicuidunderhighpressure.Usepaperor
cardboard,nothands,tosearchforleaks.
DANGER
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
havesufcientforcetopenetrateskinanddo
seriousdamage.
Ifuidisinjectedintotheskinitmustbe
surgicallyremovedwithinafewhoursbya
doctorfamiliarwiththisformofinjuryor
gangrenemayresult.
Beforedisconnectingorperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem,allpressureinsystemmustberelieved
bystoppingengine,cyclingdumpvalvefromraiseto
lowerand/orloweringthetankandattachments.Ifthe
tankmustbeintheraisedposition,secureitwiththe
safetysupport.
Tomakesureentiremachineisingoodcondition,keep
allnuts,boltsandscrewsproperlytightened.
Toreducepotentialrehazard,keeptheengineareafree
ofexcessivegrease,grass,leavesandaccumulationofdirt.
Iftheenginemustberunningtoperformamaintenance
adjustment,keephands,feet,clothing,andanypartsof
thebodyawayfromtheengineandanymovingparts.
Keepeveryoneaway.
Donotoverspeedenginebychanginggovernorsettings.
Maximumenginespeedis3650rpm.Toassuresafetyand
