angedlocknutsandboltsatthetopofstrapsuntilthe

OperatingtheMachine
StartingtheEngine
1.Sitontheoperator’sseatandkeepyourfootoffthe
tractionpedal.
2.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisengaged,thetraction
pedalisintheNeutralposition,thethrottleisinthe
Slowposition.
3.TurntheswitchtotheOn/Preheatposition.
Note:Anautomatictimerwillcontrolthepreheatfor
approximately6seconds.
4.Afterpreheating,turnthekeytotheStartposition.
5.Cranktheenginefornolongerthan15seconds.
6.Releasethekeywhentheenginestarts.
7.Iftheenginerequiresadditionalpreheating,turnthe
keytotheOffposition,thentotheOn/Preheat
position.
Note:Repeatstepsthroughasrequired.
8.Runtheengineatidlespeedorpartialthrottleuntil
theenginewarmsup.
DrivingtheMachine
1.Pressthetractionpedalforwardtodrivethemachine
forwardorpressthepedalrearwardtodrivethe
machineinreverse.
Important:Ensurethatyouallowthesprayer
tocometoastopbeforeswitchingbetweenthe
ForwardandReversepositions.
2.Toslowlystopthemachine,releasethetractionpedal.
Note:ThetractionpedalwillreturntotheNeutral
position.
3.Tostopquickly,pressthebrakepedal.
Note:Thestoppingdistanceofyoumachinemayvary
dependingonthesprayer-tankloadandgroundspeed
ofthemachine.
SettingtheGroundSpeedLockSwitch
CAUTION
Ifyoupressthegroundspeedlockswitchanddo
nothaveyourfootonthetractionpedal,thetraction
unitmaysuddenlystopandcauseyoutolose
control,possiblyinjuringyouorbystanders.
Ensurethatyouhaveyourfootonthetractionpedal
whenyoudisengagethegroundspeedlockswitch.
1.Driveforwardandattainthedesiredgroundspeed;
refertoDrivingtheMachine(page26).
2.Pressthetopofthegroundspeedlockswitch.
Note:Thelightontheswitchilluminates.
3.Takeyourfootoffthetractionpedal.
Note:Thesprayerwillmaintainthespeedyouset.
4.Toreleasethegroundspeedlockswitch,eitherplace
yourfootonthetractionpedalandpressthebottomof
theswitchorremoveyourfootfromthetractionpedal
andpressthebrakepedal.
