1.Checkandllalltires;refertoCheckingTirePressure.
2.Measurethedistancebetweenbothofthefronttiresat
theaxleheightatboththefrontandrearofthefront
tires(Figure64).
Thedistancebetweenthefrontofthetiresshouldbe0
to3mm(0to1/8inch)lessthanthedistancebetween
thebacksideofthefronttires.

Every400hours/Yearly(whichevercomes
rst)—Checkthecoolant(asdirectedbythe
manufacturer)andchangeifnecessary.
Coolingsystemcapacity:5.5L(5.8USqt)
Coolanttype:asolutionof50%waterand50%permanent
ethyleneglycolantifreeze
Important:Donotaddcoolanttoanoverheatedengine
untiltheenginehasfullycooled.Addingcoolanttoan
overheatedenginemaycracktheengineblock.
Checktheenginecoolantconcentrationasdirectedbythe
coolantmanufacturer.
1.Positionthesprayeronalevelsurface,settheparking
brake,stopthepump,stoptheengine,andremovethe
keyfromthestarterswitch.
CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,thecoolant
maybehotandpressurized.Ifyouopenthe
radiatorcapwhenthecoolantishot,itcould
sprayoutandseverelyburnyouorbystanders.
Allowtheenginetocoolforatleast15minutes
beforeopeningtheradiatorcap.Theradiator
capmustbecooltothetouch.
2.Whentheengineiscool,removetheradiatorcap
(Figure66).
