DrainingtheWaterSeparator
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,
andengagetheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Locatethewaterseparatoratthebackleftofthe
machine.
5.Placeadrainpanbelowthewaterseparator.
6.Openthedrainvalveonthewaterseparator
approximately1turntoallowwaterandother
contaminatestodrain(Figure65).
7.Closethedrainvalvewhenonlydieselfuelcomesout
(Figure65).

fromthefuellter(Figure66).
6.Installanewlter.Connectthefuellinestothefuel
lterandinstallthe2hoseclamps(Figure66).
7.Openthefuelshut-offvalve.
8.Starttheengineandcheckforleaks.
