1.Placeahandlebetweenthealternatorandcylinder
block.
2.Adjustthealternatortotheoutsideuntilthereis7to9
mm(1/4to11/32inch)deectioninthebeltbetween
theengineandthealternatorpulleyswith10kgf(22.1
lbofforce)(Figure88).
3.Tightenthealternatorbolts.
4.Checkthedeectioninthebeltagainandadjustthe
beltifneeded.
5.Ifthedeectioniscorrect,tightenthebottomand
upperbolt(Figure88).
