1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,
andengagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Unlatchtheseatandtilttheseatup.
4.RemovethebatteryasshowninFigure67.

batterydamagewhenthetemperatureisbelow0°C
(32°F).
1.Makesurethatthellercapsareinstalledinbattery.
Chargebatteryfor10to15minutesat25to30Aor
30minutesat10A.
2.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,unplugthecharger
fromtheelectricaloutlet,thendisconnectthecharger
leadsfromthebatteryposts(Figure69).
3.Installthebatteryinthemachineandconnectthe
batterycables,refertoInstallingtheBattery(page48).
Note:Donotrunthemachinewiththebattery
disconnected,electricaldamagemayoccur.
