inextremelydustyordirtyconditions).Changingtheair
lterbeforeitisnecessaryonlyincreasesthechanceof
dirtenteringtheenginewhenthelterisremoved.

1.Pullthelatchoutwardandrotatetheaircleanercover
counterclockwise(

2.Removethecoverfromtheaircleanerbody.Before
removingthelter,uselowpressureair(40psi,clean
anddry)tohelpremovelargeaccumulationsofdebris
packedbetweenoutsideofprimarylterandthe
canister.Avoidusinghighpressureairwhichcould
forcedirtthroughthelterintotheintakearea.This
cleaningprocesspreventsdebrisfrommigratinginto
theintakewhentheprimarylterisremoved.
