capture,andendttings.
AssemblingtheManifoldValve
Operatorsuppliedmaterial:Clearsiliconegrease.
Important:Useonlysiliconegreasewhen
assemblingthevalve.
1.ChecktheconditionoftheoutletttingO-rings
(sectionvalvemanifoldonly),endcapO-rings,
backseatingO-rings,andballseatfordamage
orwear(Figure116andFigure117).
Note:ReplaceanydamagedorwornO-rings
orseats.
2.Applysiliconegreasetothevalvestemand
insertitintothevalvestemseat(Figure116and
Figure117).
3.Installthevalvestemandseatintothemanifold
andsecurethestemandseatwiththestem
retainer(Figure116andFigure117).
4.EnsurethatthebackseatingO-ringandtheball
seatarealignedandseatedintotheend-cap
tting(Figure116andFigure117)
5.Installtheend-capttingassemblyontothe
manifoldbodyuntiltheangeoftheend-cap
ttingtouchesthemanifoldbody(Figure116
andFigure117),thenturntheend-capttingan
additional1/8to1/4turn.
Note:Usecautionsoasnottodamagetheend
ofthetting.
6.Inserttheballintothevalvebody(Figure118).
Note:Thevalvestemshouldtinsidetheball
driveslot.Ifthevalvestemdoesnott,adjust
thepositionoftheball(Figure118).
