switch.

Ifyoustoptheenginewithoutsettingtheparkingbrake,
themachinewillsettheparkingbrakeandtheyellow
parkingbrakeindicatorwillappearinthecommand
centerdisplay(Figure12).
KeySwitch
Usethekeyswitchtopowertheelectricalaccessories,startthe
machine,andstopthemachine(Figure11).The4key-switch
positionsareasfollows:
Accessory—Rotatethekeyswitchtothispositionto
energizethelampswitchcircuits.
Stop—Rotatethekeyswitchtothispositiontostopthe
engineandde-energizetheelectricalsystem.
Note:Alwaysremovethekeybeforeleavingthe
machine.
Run—Thispositionallowstheenginetorunandwill
energizeallelectricalsystems.
Start—Rotatethekeyswitchtothispositiontostartthe
engine.
Note:Whenyoureleasethekey,itwillautomaticallygo
totheRunposition.
FootPedal
Thefootpedalcontrolsthedirectionandspeedoftravelof
themachine(Figure13).

Thetraction-controlclusterislocatedattheoperatorseat,
adjacenttotheleftarmrest.
Utility-TractionJoystick
Whentrenching,plowing,orboring,usetheutility-traction
joysticktochangethedirectionandspeedofthemachine
(Figure14).Thefurtheryoumovethejoystickineither
direction,thefasterthemachinewillmoveintheselected
direction.
