dirt,andloosehoses,andclamps.Clean,repair,tighten,and
replacethecomponentsasnecessary.
CheckingtheConcentrationofthe
Coolant
ServiceInterval:Every1,000hours
Testtheconcentrationofethyleneglycolbasedantifreezein
thecoolant.Ensurethatthecoolantisamixtureof50%
ethyleneglycoland50%water.
CleaningtheCoolingSystem

DrainingtheCoolantfromtheSystem

1.Removetheleftandrightsidepanels;referto
RemovingtheSidePanels(page45).
2.Removethe2hex-headboltsthatsecurethereservoir
doortothehoodandopenthedoor(Figure98).
3.Removetherecovery-tankcapfromthetank(Figure
98).
4.Slipacoolantresistanthosethatis3/8x30inchesover
theoutletforthedrainvalveintheradiator(Figure99).

5.Securethehosetothedrainvalvewithahoseclamp

6.Routethehosedownandthroughtheholeinthelower
mountingplateforthebackllblade(Figure100).
