Changing the Engine Oil and Filter

1. Park the machine on a level surface, move the
motion-control levers to the N
EUTRAL-LOCK
position, engage the parking brake, raise the
hopper, and install the cylinder lock.
2. Shut off the engine and remove the key.
3. Perform the following steps to change the
engine oil:
A. Remove the drain plug and allow all of the
existing oil to drain out of the engine.
B. Install the drain plug. Torque the plug to
13.6 N∙m (10 ft-lb).
4. Change the engine-oil filter.

5. Slowly pour approximately 80% of the specified oil into the filler tube.
