batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe
positive(red)cable.
•Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)battery
cablebeforeconnectingthenegative
(black)cable.
1.Connectthepositivebatterycable(red)tothe
positive(+)terminalofthebatteryandsecure
thecableusingtheboltandnuts(Figure4).
2.Slidetheinsulatorbootoverthepositiveterminal
(Figure4).
Note:Theinsulatorbootpreventsapossible
short-to-groundfromoccurring.
3.Connectthenegativebatterycable(black)tothe
negative(–)terminalofthebatteryandsecure
thecableusingtheboltandnuts(Figure4).
