EngagingtheDifferentialLock(s)
1.Ensurethatthemachinespeedis8km/h(5
mph)orlessandyourfootisofftheaccelerator
pedal.
2.Pressthedifferential-lockswitchtothemid
positiontoengagethereardifferentiallock
(Figure73).
Pressthedifferential-lockswitchtotheup
positiontoengagethefrontandreardifferential
locks(Figure73).
Note:Thedifferentiallock(s)areonlyactive
whenthedifferential-lockswitchispushed.

DisengagingtheDifferential
Lock(s)
Withyourfootofftheacceleratorpedal,disengage
thedifferentiallock(s)bypressingthedifferential-lock
switchtothedownposition(Figure73).
Note:Thedifferential-lock(s)iconwillnotbe
illuminatedonthedisplaywhentheswitchis
disengaged.
Note:Youcanreleasethedifferentiallock(s)while
themachineisinmotion.Thedifferentiallock(s)may
stayengagedwhileanaxleloadispresent.The
differentiallock(s)releaseonceyouremoveanaxle
load.
ControllingtheEngine
ThrottleWhileintheP
(PARK)Position
Ifyouarewarminguptheengineincoldweatheror
ifyouneedtochargeyourbatteryusingtheengine,
dothefollowing:
1.ShiftthetransmissionlevertotheP(PARK)
position.
2.Withonefootonthebrakepedal,simultaneously
pressyourotherfootontheacceleratorpedal.
Note:Thereisnothrottlecontrolwhileinthe
N(NEUTRAL)position.
