ServiceInterval:Every250hours—Checkthe
positivecrankcaseventilation(PCV)
valve.Clean,ifnecessary.
1.SlidethespringclampsandremovethePCV
valvefromtherubberhoses.
2.Shakethevalveandensurethatyoucanhear
loosepartsinthevalve.
Ifyoudonothearloosepartsinthevalve,clean
orreplacethevalve;refertotheServiceManual.
Note:Wheninstallingthenewvalve,ensure
thatthevalveisinstalledwiththeventilation
goinginthecorrectdirection.

Every2,000hours—Replacethetimingbelt.
1.Removetherubberplug.
2.Usingaashlight,checkthetimingbeltfor
cracks,excessivewear,ordamage.
3.Ensurethatthebeltistensionedto29N(6.5
lbf)at6mm(1/4inch).
Ifitisnottensionedproperlyorifyouneedto
replacethebelt,refertotheServiceManual.
