•Afterstartingacoldengine,letitwarmupforabout
15secondsbeforeusingthemachine.
Note:Allowmoretimefortheenginetowarmup
whenoperatingincoldtemperatures.
•Afterusingthemachine,allowtheenginetocool
downforabout15secondsbeforeshuttingthe
engineoff.
•Ensurethatthebrakesareburnished;referto8

•Checktheuidlevelsmoreoftenduringthis
process.
•Varythemachinespeedduringoperationand
avoidfastaccelerations.
•Abreak-inoilfortheengineisnotrequired.

•Theowner/operatorcanpreventandisresponsible

cargobed.Keepbystandersandchildrenoutof
theoperatingarea.
•Wearappropriateclothing,includingeye
protection;longpants;substantial,slip-resistant
footwear;andhearingprotection.Tiebacklong
hairanddonotwearlooseclothingorloose
jewelry.
•Wearanapprovedhelmetwheneveryouoperate
themachineonroughoruneventerrainorathigh
speeds.
•Useyourfullattentionwhileoperatingthe
machine.Donotengageinanyactivitythat
causesdistractions;otherwise,injuryorproperty
damagemayoccur.
•Donotoperatethemachinewhileill,tired,or
undertheinuenceofalcoholordrugs.
•Operatethemachineoutdoorsorina
well-ventilatedareaonly.
•Donotexceedthemaximumgrossvehicleweight
(GVW)ofthemachine.
•Useextracautionwhenoperating,braking,or
turningthemachinewithaheavyloadinthecargo
bed.
•Carryingoversizedloadsinthecargobedreduces
thestabilityofthemachine.Donotexceedthe
carryingcapacityofthebed.
•Carryingmaterialthatcannotbeboundtothe
machineadverselyaffectsthesteering,braking,
andstabilityofthemachine.Whenyoucarry
materialthatcannotbeboundtothemachine,use
cautionwhensteeringorbraking.
•Carryareducedloadandreducetheground
speedofthemachinewhenoperatingonrough,
uneventerrain,andnearcurbs,holes,andother
suddenchangesinterrain.Loadsmayshift,
causingthemachinetobecomeunstable.
•Beforeyoustartthemachine,ensurethatthe
transmissionisinneutral,theparkingbrakeis
engaged,andyouareintheoperatingposition.
•Youandyourpassengersshouldremainseated
wheneverthemachineismoving.Keepyour
handsonthesteeringwheel;yourpassengers
