5. Maintenance and Inspection
Daily inspection
Check the following items daily while the controller is runnning..
CAUTION
When there is any smoke or strage odor ,turn off the power.
Otherwise, it may cause a fire or electric shock.
NOTICE:
 To keep the system normal and avoid unnecessary troubles,perform daily
inspections,periodical inspections.
Table 5.1 Daily inspection items
Item Inspection details Remedy
Check of RUN/ALM display of
the intelligent PI/O unit
RUN is ON and ALM is OFF
during operation.
・If the LED action is abnormal, follow
the procedure detailed in Chapter 4,
"Troubleshooting".

Check the registration state and error
state of the I/O from the controller for taking
measures.
Check the input LED display of
the intelligent PI/O unit
(digital input)
The corresponding LED
illuminates when the external
input signal is ON.
・
Check if the input voltage is within the
specified value.
・
Check for looseness of the input terminal
block.
・
Check if the module is installed securely.
Check the output LED display
of the intelligent PI/O unit
(digital output)
The corresponding LED
illuminates and external load
functions when the output is ON.
・
Check if the external load voltage is within
the specified value.
・
Check the built-in fuse.
・
Check for looseness of the output
terminal block.
・
Check if the module is installed securely.
