7.8 Focusing methods
Precise laser engraving depends on several factors. Apart from the right choice of lens, working tables and a
corresponding exhaust system, correct focusing plays a key role.
The correct setting of the focus, which means the right distance between the laser head and the material to be engraved,
is crucial for a perfect application result.

Caution
If workpieces with more than 66.14 lbs (30 kg) have been placed on the table, the table must not be
moved up or down anymore as this might damage the mechanics of the machine.
It is mandatory to focus on the height of the material before loading material of 66.14 lbs (30 kg) and
above.
