Before replacing an EID Stick Reader case, ascertain that you have a
new
case spare part and not an
old one. The new spare part is supplied with case front and rear together as one spare part. The new
case front has a different screw boss and the new case rear has a manufacturing date of January
2018 or subsequent.

ven if only one half of the case is damaged and requires replacement, it is important that both case
halves are replaced in order to provide an effective seal.
1 O
pen the case. See page 30.
2 Remove all internal components:
3 Check the spare part to make sure you have the correct case for the XRS2 or SRS2 model:

4 Refit all internal components into the new case front.
5 Replace the case rear. Check that the vent label is attached to the spare part. This is essential in providing a
good seal.
