The following example describes the connection of the devices to a Siemens PLC in PROFINET
by means of the programming software SIMATIC STEP7 Professional V15 (TIA-Portal).
Used Hardware
The following hardware components are used in this example:
n Siemens PLC S7-1500
n IO-Link master TBEN-L5-8IOL with the following configuration:
– Port 1: Turck temperature sensor, TS-530-LI2UPN8X-..., IO-Link V1.0
– Port 2: Channel used as DI
– Port 3: Turck linear position sensor, Li100P0-Q25LM0-..., IO-Link V1.0
– Port 4: Channel used as DI
– Port 5: Channel used as DI
– Port 6: Turck IO-Link hub: TBIL-M1-16DXP, IO-Link V1.1
– Port 7: Turck ultra sonic sensor, RU130U-M18E-..., IO-Link V1.1
