• Cable glands must be made of plastic materials. They are used for sealing
cables passing through cable entries to ensure the characteristics of the
enclosure.
Plastic cable glands are recommend. If metal cable glands are needed, all insula-
tion system requirements and all protective earthing requirements have to be ful-
filled in accordance with the national electrical regulations and IEC 61800-5-1.

• Screw the cable glands on the cable entry holes using the proper tightening
torque as shown in Table 15.
