8.2 Turning off the Firewall
You must turn off the Windows firewall before setting up the environment variable in
your PC. Windows firewalls can block the LAN port and local IP, which causes an
interruption in image acquisition and data transmission.
To turn off the firewall, follow the steps below:
1. Press the Windows icon and type “Windows Firewall.”
2. Click the Windows Firewall.
3. Click the Turn Windows Firewall on or off option.
4. Select “Turn off Windows Fire Wall” for private and public network location
settings.
5. Click OK to apply the changes.
