7.6. Control options
The Micro Dispensing Systems of the MDS 3000 family work according to the control profile
shown below.

Parameter
Description
Rising
The time span for opening the valve (0,1 ms)
Open Time
Time span the valve stays open (0,1 ms)
Falling
During this time the valve gets closed and the remaining medium from the
nozzle compression chamber gets repressed. (0,1 ms)
Delay
Two components of this delay: the adjusted value and the value of added
breaks through intrasystem processes. (0,1 ms)
Needle Lift
The movement range of the tappet. (%)
