Before using extremely aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents please make sure that all fluid

After demounting the nozzle unit it has to be tested for pollution and cleaned if necessary, before a
remounting is carried out. Before mounting the nozzle unit make sure that the valve seat and the
tappet top are free from any contamination that may cause damages to the sealing of the valve
seat.
After cleaning, O-ring sealings have to be inspected and exchanged by default.
9.2. Cleaning methods
For the cleaning of the Micro Dispensing Valve (especial for the fluid contacting parts),
recommends VERMES Microdispensing the CTK - Cleaning Tool Kit (Article no: 1010320.). This
consists out of

For pre-cleaning purposes, please remove the dispensing fluid, connect the Micro Dispensing
System to an empty and clean cartridge and push the residues of dispensing fluid with pressurized
air through the system.
The cleaning of the Micro Dispensing Valve can be carried out via:
(Configuration and parts shown in the pictures may be different from the configuration that you
have.)
Rinsing with an appropriate cleaning medium
To remove residues of the dispensed fluid, please rinse the system with an appropriate cleaning
medium (for this, please refer to the material safety data sheet of the dispensed media and
suitable cleaning suggestions). Please pay attention to the consistency of the particular parts
against the rinsing media (e.g. sealing material).
