8.7.2. Replacing Humidier
Due to the sediments in the water drained from the humidier, the humidier tray must be cleaned periodically
to avoid clogging of the tray and the drainage pipe. The cleaning cycle varies with the water quality, as well
as the humidication operation time. Timely cleaning of the humidier tray must be done every month, as a
consumable, the humidier doesn’t require regular cleaning. If the water keeps entering the humidier or the
input voltage of the humidication electrode is normal, but the water fails to boil, it means that the humidier
has reached its service life and needs replacement.
Following are the procedures to replace the humidier:
1. Turn O the humidier by setting the humidity setpoints on the controller lower than the actual humidity in
the equipment room.
2. Place the RUN/ DRAIN switch to the DRAIN position to forcefully empty the humidier.
3. Turn O the AC power.
