General Maintenance
Chapter 4: General Maintenance
In this section, the SmartAisle2 product basic safety precautions, instructions, the maintenance life cycle, checklists,
decomposition, and troubleshooting are explained from a customer perspective.
4.1. Safety Measures
Following are the safety guidelines that need to be adhered:
Equipment maintenance should disconnect the power input; power o the device unless the debugging
project requires a power supply.
Even after disconnecting the power supply, air conditioning, indoor fan, outdoor fan still have potential voltage;
therefore, disconnect the power switch of the air conditioner.
System maintenance must be completed by trained and authorized service personnel.
All maintenance operations must be strictly be in accordance with local protocols and laws as local regulations
supersede everything else.
All trouble shooting is subjected to the manufacturers maintenance – otherwise the warranty is void.
Ignoring safety guidance can put the human life and environment at risk.
Inappropriate parts can lead to reduced performance or equipment downtime. Therefore, original components
and recommended parts must be used.
