Transmission cover
- Loosen the 15 screws and remove the transmis-
sion cover with the aid of a mallet.
N.B.
THE CRANKCASE IS SLIGHTLY BLOCKED BY THE TIGHT
FIT BETWEEN THE SHAFT OF THE DRIVEN HALF-PULLEY
AND THE BEARING HOUSED ON THE CRANKCASE.
Kickstart
- Remove the screws shown in the figure and re-
move the engine starting lever.
- For the assembly, work in reverse and tighten the
screws to the prescribed torque..
Locking torques (N*m)
Starter lever replacement 12 to 13 Nm
- Upon refitting, apply the recommended grease to
the bushing, to the spring and along the toothed
sector.
- Use the special tool for the charging of the spring,
as shown in the figure.
- Refit the seeger ring after checking that it is in
good condition.
