Checking valve oil sump ventilation
Once every year.
54 Checking valve
• Loosen bolt (1) and lift the valve from the
engine.
• Remove the plug (2).
• Check if the ball (3) can move freely in the
valve housing.
• Also inspect the ball for corrosion. A cor-
roded ball needs to be replaced.
• Re-assemble the valve in reverse order.
