Checking engine oil level
Daily, before starting.
1 Check oil level
• Turn the engine o.
The dipstick is located on the starboard side
of the engine.
2 Oil level
The oil level must be at or near the upper
mark on the dipstick

.
• If necessary top up with the same brand
and type of oil.
3 Topping up oil
The oil lling cap is on top of the the valve
cover,.
A second oil lling cap is located at the distru-
bution cover, see page 20.
