15.8 LOOP WIDENING PHASE
This cam serves to move the loop widening combs in synchrony with the needle and crochet hook movement.
15.8.1 POSITION
In order to position the loop widening start movement cam correctly, place the needle bar at the following phase point.
Turn the hand wheel until the thread exit hole on the upper part of the crochet hook crosses through the eye of the needle, with the
needle bar in descent.

At this point, the cam’s fixture screws are in the following positions: the former in a perfectly vertical rotation direction and the
second perfectly horizontal, as illustrated in the figure below:

Also check that there is no play between the cam and the left-hand trimmer. Tighten well in order to prevent malfunctions and oil
leakage from the cam seals.
