Stubble height
The stubble height is adjusted in the following way:
 Lower the cutting unit to the ground.
 Set the stubble height by adjusting the top link.
• Making the top link shorter reduces the stubble height
• Making the top link longer increases the stubble height.
The stubble height can be combined with fitting high skids* which can
be used to set the stubble height as follows:

Ground pressure
The suspension on the machine's cutting unit should be adjusted so
that the downward pressure on the machine's cutting unit is about 50-
60 kg (110-132 lb).
 Check that the machine's suspension is at the correct height.

 Check that machine's hydraulic cylinder is in the outermost
position.
 Raise the machine's cutting unit and check how heavy it feels.
 Check that the weight on the cutting unit is around 50-60 kg (110-
132 lb).
The stubble height is adjusted in the following way:
 Activate the tractor's hydraulics and raise the machine's cutting
unit until the springs and chain are no longer tensioned.
