To avoid risk of electrical shock, personal injury, or death, disconnect electrical power source to unit, unless test
procedures require power to be connected. Discharge capacitor through a resistor before attempting to service.
Ensure all ground wires are connected before certifying unit as repaired and/or operational.

Water Heater
The unit uses a 120-volt, 1200 watt heater
to heat the water during the wash cycle. To
check the heater, unplug the gray wire on
P12 and using an ohmmeter, check for 12 Ω
ohms between the gray wire and Neutral. If
0 Ω ohms are read, check the wiring to the
heater. If the wiring is correct, replace the
heater. The heater can also be tested in the
Diagnostic mode (see page 12).
