Service Diagnostics and Procedures
Dryer Motor–450 only
When the dry cycle begins, 12 volts are sent to the
dryer motor. The motor forces ambient air into the
dishwasher chamber. This fresh air mixes with and
helps to evacuate the hot moisture latent air out of
the tank and out through the door vent.
Dryer Heater–450 only
When additional heat is required to help dry the
dishes, the control board sends 120 volts to the dry
heater. This heat is carried into the dishwasher tank
by the dryer motor.
