2. Smart card 16452/16452.H
The “smart card” is an electronic key with 15 distinct memory
addresses, in which it can store 15 different codes that are
randomly generated at the time of programming, out of a to-
tal of 4.29 billion possible combinations. The 4 dip-switches
at the rear of the reader/programmer are used to select the
desired address. This allows the smart card to be associ-
ated with 15 separate addresses (or access points). Different
readers can share the same address and the same code:
in this case, several access points can be enabled using a
single address.
The available types of cards are: 16452 (figures 2.1a - 2.1b)
and 16452.H (figures 2.1a - 2.1c).
