7.3 Changing the reader and SLAVE
smart card codes
This procedure assigns a new SLAVE code to the memory of
the reader/programmer and copies it to the desired SLAVE
smart cards.
Each time the “Change reader and SLAVE smart card
codes” procedure is invoked, a different code will be gen
-
erated.
To carry out this procedure it is necessary to have the MAS-
TER smart card (see paragraph 7.1).
7.3.3
When the LED stops blinking and turns
green, insert the MASTER smart card to
enable the procedure.
If the MASTER smart card is not inserted within 2
minutes:
• the LED blinks yellow 3 times
• the device exits the procedure
If the LED turns red, it means a SLAVE master
card or a non-enabled MASTER smart card was
inserted.
Remove the incorrect smart card and insert the
correct one.
