6.2.2
When the LED turns green (after about 10
seconds), insert the MASTER smart card
to enable the procedure.
If the LED turns red, it means that a SLAVE smart
card or a non-enabled MASTER smart card was
inserted.
Remove the smart card and insert the correct
one.
6.2 Initialising the reader and
programming SLAVE smart cards
This procedure generates a SLAVE code, associates it with
the address selected by the dip-switches on the reader/pro-
grammer being initialised, and copies it to the desired smart
cards.
To carry out this procedure it is necessary to have the
MASTER smart card (see paragraph 6.1).
6.2.1
Place dip-switch 1 in the ON position.
The LED lights up yellow.
If no smart cards are inserted for about 2 min-
utes, the LED turns yellow and no further com-
mands are accepted.
To resume normal operation, replace dip-switch
1 in the OFF position.
6.2.3
If the MASTER smart card is recognised,
the LED switches off.
