4.1 Transportation and storage
Transport conditions
| Temperature range: –20 to +80°C
If you detect damage as a result of transportation, contact
your supplier. During transportation and handling, bear in
mind the weight of the inverter and its packaging (see
chapter 3.7, page 19).
Damage due to temperature fluctuations
During transportation, electronic equipment can be damaged
by temperature fluctuations and air humidity.
| Transport the unit at a constant temperature and at low
humidity.
Damage due to impact
When slewing and depositing the load, electronic equipment
can be damaged by the forces of impact.
| Ensure the unit does not suffer impact during
transportation.
Damage due to condensate
If the device is brought to the installation location from cold
surroundings, condensation may form, which can lead to
damage to the electronic equipment. The equipment must be
dry before commissioning.
| Allow 2 hours after transportation. Then commission the
device.
Storage
| The device packaging is not weatherproof. Only store the
packaged device in covered areas.
