Ringer tone
You can select the ringer tones for the incoming home and cell calls.
To select a ringer tone:
Press MENU/SELECT on the handset when it is not
in use.

or to select Home, Cellular 1 or Cellular 2,

or to select a ringer tone. A sample
of each ringer tone plays as you scroll through
the choices.

Answering system settings
Answering system setup
You can change the settings of the answering system in the answering
system setup menu with a system handset.
Answer ON/OFF
If you turn the answering system on, it answers calls and records messages
only on the home line.
When the answering system is turned on, the
/ANS ON/OFF light on the
telephone base is on and the handset displays ANS ON.
To turn the answering system on or off:
Using the telephone base:
Press /ANS ON/OFF to turn the answering system
on or off. When the answering system is turned on,
it announces,
“Calls will be answered.”
When the
answering system is turned off, it announces,
“Calls
will not be answered.”
Using the handset:
Press MENU/
SELECT on the handset when it is not
in use.
Press
or to highlight Ans. system, then press
MENU/SELECT.

or to highlight Ans sys setup, then press
MENU/SELECT.
