7.5 Assembly of the tire
NOTICE
Damageoftheinternalsensorbyuids
The internal sensor can be damaged by the penetration of uids.
– Make sure that the internal sensor does not come into contact with uids (e.g. assembly uid).
– Do not ll the tires with water.
1. Fit the wheel onto the assembly machine that the assembly head is on the opposite side of the
valve, i.e. offset by 180° (Figure 9).

2. Apply assembly uid to the tire bead and rim ange.
NOTICE
Damage to the internal sensor due to tensile or compressive forces
During assembly the tire bead must not be pressed against the wheel electronics. Otherwise there is
a risk that the internal sensor will be destroyed by the contact.
– Make sure that a tire bead is not pressed onto or pulled over the sensor.
3. Push the bead to be tted onto the rim over the rim ange.
4. Pull the second tire bead onto the rim.
