In this process, the spray product is fed to the nozzle at a pressure of 0.05–0.2 MPa; 0.5–2 bar; 7–29 psi. The
atomizing air at approx. 0.25 - 0.4 MPa; 2.5 - 4 bar; 36 - 58 psi produces a soft round jet, which largely eliminates
the problem of overlapping boundaries. The shaping air allows modi cation of the spray jet. There are various
nozzles and air caps available as accessories for the respective spray product and the discharge quantities.
