5.5.3 ELECTROSTATIC EFFECT
The spray gun produces an electrostatic eld by means of the high-voltage electrode. As
a result, the paint particles atomized by the spray gun are carried to the grounded work
piece by kinetic and electrostatic energy, where they adhere nely dispersed to the object
to be sprayed.
