If you smell gas:
1) Shut off gas to the appliance.
2) Extinguish any open flames.
3) Open lid.
4) If odour continues, keep away from the appliance and
immediately call your gas supplier or your fire service.
Leaking gas may cause a fire or explosion which can cause
serious bodily injury, death, or damage to property.

1) Do not store or use petrol or other flammable liquids or
vapours in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
2) A gas supply cylinder not connected for use shall not be
stored in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

    What to do if Weber Grill burners do not light?

      To reset the excess flow safety device on your Weber Grill, turn all burner control knobs and the cylinder valve to OFF. Disconnect the regulator from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to HI. Wait at least 1 minute. Turn burner control knobs to OFF. Reconnect the regulator to the cylinder. Turn the cylinder valve on slowly. Refer to “Lighting Instructions”. This issue may occur if the excess flow safety device, which is part of the barbecue to cylinder connection, has been activated.

      If the burner does not light, or the flame is low in the HI position on your Weber Grill, first check if the LP fuel is low or empty and refill the LP cylinder if needed. Also, inspect the fuel hose for any bends or kinks and straighten it. If you can light the Left burner with a match, then check the Crossover® ignition system.

      Flare-ups on your Weber Grill can occur if you are not preheating the barbecue correctly. Ensure all burners are on high for 10 to 15 minutes for preheating. Also, clean the cooking grates and Flavorizer® bars thoroughly if they are heavily coated with burned-on grease. Finally, make sure the bottom tray is clean to allow grease to flow into the catch pan.

      The residue inside the lid of your Weber Grill is likely baked-on grease that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. This is not a defect. Clean the lid thoroughly.

      If the burner flame pattern on your Weber Grill is erratic, with a low flame when the burner is on HI, and flames do not run the whole length of the burner tube, the burners may need to be cleaned. Clean the burners. See Section “Maintenance”.
