5.5 Therapy in TA mode
In TA mode the therapy device adapts to your individual respiratory rhythm. To en-
sure optimum adaptation to your respiratory rhythm, proceed as follows:
1. Put on the breathing mask before you switch on the therapy device.
2. Switch on the therapy device and continue breath-
ing normally. The symbol A
A
appears in the dis-
play. The device first supplies a constant pressure
of 4 hPa and analyses your respiratory rhythm.
Once the device has identified your respiratory
rhythm (after 10-20 breaths), it supplies the pre-
scribed therapy pressure in precisely this rhythm.
If your respiratory rhythm changes during the therapy, the therapy device automati-
cally detects this and performs another analysis. The symbol A
A
appears in the dis-
play again. Continue to breathe normally during this phase as well. The pressure is
again reduced to 4 hPa for 10-20 breaths. Once the device has identified your new
respiratory rhythm, it supplies the therapy pressure in this new rhythm.
Note:
The Softstart function is not available in TA mode.
5.6 After usage
1. Remove the headgear/headband and the mask.
2. Keep the on / off switch depressed for 2 seconds to switch off the unit. The
fan switches off. Date and duration of the last therapy session appear in the dis-
play. "WEINMANN VENTImotion" appears in the display. The unit then switch-
es to standby mode.
