9. Maintenance
9.1 Intervals
We recommend only having servicing and maintenance performed by the
manufacturer (WEINMANN) or authorized dealers.
Both filters must be regularly checked for soiling
• The coarse dust filter should be cleaned once a week and changed
no less than every 6 months.
• The fine filter should be changed after no more than 1000 operat-
ing hours (filter change symbol appears in the display).
For reasons of hygiene, we recommend replacing the following parts at the intervals
stated:
• pressure measuring hose every 6 months and earlier if soiled
• complete mask system every 6 to 12 months depending on soiling
• exhalation system in accordance with the relevant operating
instructions
In addition, servicing should be carried out at the following intervals as a preventive
measure:
• after every 5000 operating hours (maintenance symbol
appears in the display)
• after no more than 2 years (see servicing sticker on rear of unit)
Servicing includes:
– filter change
– cleaning unit
– replacing any defective parts
– a complete check of unit functions and pressure indicators
