8. Troubleshooting
8.1 Malfunctions

Check connecting cord is securely con-
nected. Possibly check function of supply
socket by connecting another piece of
equipment (e.g. a lamp).
Unit cannot be
switched on by tak-
ing a breath.
Auto switch-on not
activated.
Activate auto switch-on (5.2, Page 19).
Soft start will not
switch on
Soft start function is
locked out.
Check with your doctor whether the soft
start function can be enabled for your
therapy.
TA mode is active.
The Softstart function is not available in
TA mode. If necessary, check with your
physician whether the correct ventilation
mode is set.
Soft start time can-
not be set to 30 min.
Maximum soft start
time limited by
doctor.
Check with your doctor whether the max-
imum soft start time for your therapy can
be extended to 30 minutes.
Unit runs but does
not reach the set
IPAP pressure.
Filter soiled. Clean/change filter (9.2, Page 40)
Mask leaking.
Adjust headgear/headband so that the
Mask does not leak - replace if necessary
