Pronounce a word in a definition
To read aloud single words in a definition:
1. In the Dictionary Screen, scroll till the
word you want to pronounce is on the
screen, and press
to activate the
highlight mode.
2. Highlight the specific word you want to
pronounce by using
, , or .
3. Long-Press
to hear the highlighted
word read aloud.
4. To deactivate highlight mode, press
.
Cross-Reference
To look up the meaning of any word in the
definition:
1. In the Dictionary Screen, scroll till the
word you want to define is on the screen,
and press
to activate the highlight
mode.
2. Highlight the specific word you want to
define by using
, , or .
3. Press
. The Large-Type Screen
displays the word.
4. Press
to hear the word read aloud, or
press
to view the definition of the word
in the Dictionary Screen.
5. To return to the original word, press
.
The History appears displaying the words
you viewed most recently (see p24).
6. Scroll up through the list until the original
word is highlighted.
