on maintaining and caring for your woom bike.
Repairs and maintenance work of any kind require expertise, experience and special tools.
In order to help minimise the chances of an accident or injury, it is critical that any repairs,
adjustments or maintenance work are performed by a specialist for safety reasons.
101 Tyres
Regularly check the tread and condition of the tyres.
Replace worn or damaged tyres immediately!
Minimum and maximum air pressures are indicated on the sidewalls of the tyres.
The tyre pressure must not be above or below this range. Permissible air pressure
woom ORIGINAL 2 / 3 / 3 AUTOMAGIC: 2.5 to 4.5 bar (35–65 psi)
Use a pressure gauge to set the correct tyre pressure.
Checking the pressure by squeezing the tyres is not very reliable.
CAUTION
Insucient tyre pressure can result in a sudden loss of pressure due to damage to
the tyre, tube and rim. Check the air pressure before each ride. Failure to observe
this information can result in faulty function, material damage, dangerous situations
and injury.
TIP
A pressure loss of about 1 bar per month is considered normal. If a tyre loses signi-
cantly more air, the tube is defective and must be repaired or replaced.
